Salon owner and founder, Kim Dykstra wanted a professional and polished look with a friendly welcoming vibe – but with a twist. She wanted to take the fear out of the experience. Something fun and collaborative for guest and stylist. Ever evolving, Kim has taken the traditional salon experience, and focused on something new.
Using vintage and modern touches throughout the salon, Cocos aims for a crisp yet organic feel. Taking creative risks while maintaining a consistent guest experience was where Kim started. Then deciding to go full on into the untapped world of Curls and Organic Curl products.
While a sophisticated experience is expected and consistently delivered, it's the friendly, attentive service and highly talented Cocos team that sets it apart.
All stylists are trained with the highest quality in curl products and curl education. Our passion for natural textured hair and curly hair has organically helped us to evolve and raise the bar in our craft. Happily, this has cultivated a loyal following for us.
We love designing a look that is specific to each individual guest.

We have combined experience in traditional haircutting and colouring techniques with a new forward push on hair design including weather and curl specific products made by us: Utility Beauty BEND, BASICS & SKIN effective curl and skin care. We are inclusive, passionate, and innovative.
